Who we are
Antonio Rubio, a licensed California real estate salesperson (CalDRE #01472558), affiliated with Better Homes Realty, 1615 Colusa Hwy #200, Yuba City, CA 95993. Ana Rubio (CalDRE #02013300) works alongside him under the same brokerage.
What we collect
Through the contact form, the home-value tool, the guide download flow and the email signup: your name, phone number or email, your preferred language, and whatever you tell us about your move. We also record which page you were on, your browser’s language setting, and, if you arrived from an ad or link, its campaign tag. This tells us which pages are actually helping people, not who you are individually.
Why we collect it
To respond to what you asked, and, only if you check the box on a form, to call or text you about it. When you ask for a guide or a home value, or sign up to save homes, Antonio may also send you a short series of follow-up emails about that request; each one says how to stop them, and replying “stop” ends them. If you save a search on the home search pages, you get an email when new homes match it, until you turn that alert off. Newsletter signups receive occasional new-listing emails and nothing else. If you ask for new homes by email (on a town page or a form), you get Antonio’s weekly email with new homes for sale where you chose, in the language you chose, and, if you choose, a daily alert from our home search provider when a home matching your town, ZIP code, price or bedrooms comes on the market, until you unsubscribe or reply “stop”.
How your information moves
When you send a form, it goes to this website’s own server (run by our web hosting provider), which saves it in our database and passes it to the contact management system (CRM) Antonio and Ana use to keep track of your inquiry and follow up with you. If you check the phone/text consent box on a form, that same system is what lets us call or text you about it. The home search and the home detail pages are provided by our home search (IDX) provider; when you use its Schedule Tour, Request Info or sign-up form, your details go to that provider and a copy comes to us the same way. Nothing is sold or rented. We share your information only with these service providers, and only so the site and our follow-up can work.
Text messages
Checking the phone/text consent box on a form is the only way we call or text you about your inquiry. You can withdraw that at any time by telling us so, by phone, text or email. We do not run an automated texting campaign of any kind. The Text buttons on this site open your own messaging app, and your message goes straight to Antonio’s cell phone.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send through this site in our own database for 24 months after your last contact with us, then delete it automatically. The contact management system Antonio uses to follow up with you keeps its own record while you work with him. You can ask us at any time to delete your information from both.
Your California rights
Under review by the broker. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. This site does not sell information as defined by that law, but the exact disclosure language here needs broker or counsel sign-off before it is treated as final.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a web analytics service to see which pages are visited and which forms are used, in aggregate, not to identify you personally; it sets its own cookies for that. Separately, our contact management system uses a small script that records page views and visit sessions for everyone who visits, and links that activity to your name once you have identified yourself, for example by submitting a form, so any follow-up reflects what you have already looked at rather than starting over. Our home search provider and our web hosting provider (which also protects the site) receive the technical details any website receives, such as your IP address and browser. None of this is used for advertising, sold, or shared with anyone else, and no advertising or resale cookies are set. You can block analytics with a browser extension or by declining cookies where your browser offers that choice.
Your location
On the homepage, “Homes near me” and “I’m near the home” can use your phone’s location, but only after you tap one of them and your browser asks your permission. The location is used once, on your device, to find homes for sale nearby. It is not saved, not sent to us and not shared. Only the name of the nearest town is used to look up listings.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page will change too.
